Crop stress detection with drones: a step-by-step workflow.

Drones find stress early because they see the whole field at once. The workflow below turns a flight into a scouting plan.

1. Capture

  • Fly in consistent light, ideally mid-morning to early afternoon
  • Keep altitude and camera settings the same between flights
  • Nadir frames, with enough overlap if you plan to stitch

2. Analyse

Send frames to Nabhya to get a vigour map, percentile management zones, canopy cover and a mask of non-crop pixels.

3. Review zones

  • Start with the weakest zone and its largest contiguous patch
  • Check whether the pattern follows irrigation, slope or field edges

4. Ground-truth and act

Walk the flagged zones, identify the cause — water, nutrient, pest or disease — and act. Re-fly after the intervention to confirm the zone has recovered.

Get a result

Send us one frame.

If you have a recent RGB flight sitting on a drive, send a single frame and we'll return the full result for it — free, no account. It's the fastest way to find out whether this is useful to you.
